The main campus of the Institute of Technology is located in the centre of Tallaght, which itself is located in the South West periphery of Dublin. It takes just a few minutes to the biggest shopping centre, „The Square“, and the adjacent Luas stop „Tallaght“. My little room in Kingswood Heights is in walking distance, too. Tuesday evening I sat in the kitchen and ordered two books from Amazon.co.uk with my credit card and yesterday I could not find it in my wallet when I wanted to pay a new headset. Argh!
After hours of unsuccessful searching I called my bank’s service provider and cancelled it. Just in case. At least my Irish bank account can provide me with liquidity.
Annoying!

Sunday afternoon, I met Chris, Tom, Stefan and Lukas/Klaus in the Luas to Connolly station, where we took the DART train („bring your own oxygen!“) to Howth, an old fishing village located on a small peninsula north of Dublin.
