There is a variety of clubs and societies at the ITT and they play a major role in college life. The college even employs someone who coordinates all the activities.
Islam Society, Christian Society, Football, Rugby, Gaelic Football, Hurling, Badminton, Table Tennis, Golf, Mountainbiking, Athletics, Mature Students, Ultimate Frisbee, Teakwondo, Basketball… it is really not easy to decide what to do. Like almost all of the Erasmus students, I joined the International Culture Society (InCuSo). In fact, this is just a code name for the Erasmus-plan-trips-and-partys Society.

Campus of the ITT Dublin

The main campus of the Institute of Technology is located in the centre of Tallaght, which itself is located in the South West periphery of Dublin. It takes just a few minutes to the biggest shopping centre, „The Square“, and the adjacent Luas stop „Tallaght“. My little room in Kingswood Heights is in walking distance, too. Credit Card

Tuesday evening I sat in the kitchen and ordered two books from Amazon.co.uk with my credit card and yesterday I could not find it in my wallet when I wanted to pay a new headset. Argh!
After hours of unsuccessful searching I called my bank’s service provider and cancelled it. Just in case. At least my Irish bank account can provide me with liquidity.
Annoying!
