A pretty lazy week lies behind me, so this post could be a little bit boring for you. But please keep in mind: one of the main reasons why I write this blog is that I want to keep track of what happens. I regard it as my external memory.

The Spanish girls invited us to drink some calimocho and chill at their appartment in Tramway Court on Monday. We preferred that to going to the fresher’s party at Metro, which started in the early afternoon and almost everybody there was drunk before the sun set.
All the other events of fresher’s week began between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. as well. Pretty sick! That’s why we avoided to attend them. Instead we celebrated Simone’s 28th birthday at his house on Wednesday and cooked food from our home countries. Christian and I brought some frankfurters and sauerkraut. Unfortunately, there was only Polish sauerkraut at Tesco’s, but nobody except Piotr noticed that. Some even thought it was French.

On Friday we just hung around at Chris‘ and Alejandros apartment, I cooked rice and we watched some movies and talked bilge. The two of them were home alone, because their Irish flatmate Darren went to his hometown.
This time we were clever and went to Aldi to buy some beer at a reasonable price. I was amazed about the fact that Aldi sells Schöfferhofer and Wernesgrüner over here. A six pack of the latter costs merely ~3,70. A square deal!

„Boooring.“ That’s what I thought all Saturday long untill Tom put me out of my misery when he suggested to go to the cinema with Chris and our Austrian compadres Stefan and Lukas, who was accidentally called Klaus by Chris. What a nice anagram!
We watched „Righteous Kill“, an average movie with great actors (De Niro and Pacino), and went to The Dragon Inn, a random pub in Tallaght, to drink a pint or two afterwards. A band was playing pop songs and suddenly everybody around us rose from his chair, because of the national anthem. I didn’t even notice it. My mates did not either. Shame on us.
Before we split, we made plans for Sunday afternoon. But Sunday is worth a seperate entry.
